Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 28, 2026

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR PRIVACY

Big Mood Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use the Pantrio mobile application (the "App").

Pantrio is a recipe discovery and management app that uses AI-powered image recognition to identify ingredients from photos, suggest recipes, and allow you to save recipes from external links. Because the App processes photos and food-related data, we want to be fully transparent about how your information is handled.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the App in all countries where the App is available.

I. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information in the following ways:

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you register for an account or use the App, you may voluntarily provide:

•       Name and email address (for account creation)

•       Username and password

•       Profile information you choose to add

•       Food preferences, dietary restrictions, and nutritional goals

•       Recipes you save, create, or share within the App

•       Photos of ingredients or meals you upload or capture

•       Links to external recipe sources you save

•       Comments, feedback, or other content you submit

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

•       Device information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and crash data

•       Log data: IP address, app activity, features used, time and date of use, and session duration

•       Usage data: which recipes you view, save, or share; how you interact with App features

•       Camera and photo data: images you capture or upload for ingredient recognition (see Section II for how this is handled)

•       Location data: approximate geographic location derived from IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly grant permission)

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

If you choose to connect the App to a third-party account (such as signing in with Apple or Google), we may receive basic profile information from that service, such as your name and email address. The information we receive depends on the privacy settings of that third-party service.

We also receive technical and usage information from our analytics service providers (see Section IV for details).

1.4 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled directly by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not have access to your financial account information.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. See Section IX for our Children's Privacy policy.

II. HOW WE HANDLE PHOTOS AND AI INGREDIENT RECOGNITION

Pantrio's core features include using your device camera to identify ingredients and analyze meal photos. We want to be fully transparent about how this works:

•       When you take a photo or upload an image within the App, that image is transmitted to third-party AI service providers for processing to identify ingredients or analyze meal content.

•       These third-party AI providers process your images in accordance with their own privacy policies and data handling practices. We will list our current AI service providers in Section IV of this Policy.

•       We do not permanently store your photos on our servers beyond what is technically necessary to process your request, unless you explicitly save an image to your account.

•       AI ingredient recognition results may be inaccurate. You should always verify results before relying on them, particularly if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions.

•       By using the ingredient recognition or meal analysis features, you consent to your images being processed by our third-party AI service providers.

If you do not wish your images to be processed in this manner, you may use the App's manual ingredient entry features instead.
