This privacy policy is applicable to the RetroPod app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by Big Mood Apps (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS".
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
The Application acquires the information you supply when you download and register the Application. Registration with the Service Provider is not mandatory. However, bear in mind that you might not be able to utilize some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with them.
1. What Information Does the Application Obtain and How Is It Used?
A. User-Provided Information
The Application does not require registration or directly collect personal identifiers such as your name or email. However, certain data may be shared through Apple systems (e.g., email associated with in-app purchases).
We may receive anonymized purchase receipts and subscription status from RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, when you make an in-app purchase.
You may choose to contact us via email, in which case we will collect and store the content of that correspondence to respond to your inquiry.
B. Automatically Collected Information
The Application may automatically collect certain device and usage information, including but not limited to:
• Device model, OS version, and system language
• IP address
• Device identifier (IDFA or IDFV)
• Session activity (screen views, time spent, interactions)
• Crash data
• App version and install source
This data is collected using trusted third-party analytics and attribution platforms (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Adjust) and is used solely to improve app performance and track aggregate usage trends.
C. Music Playback Metadata
If you grant permission, the Application can read metadata from your Apple Music playback session, including:
• Currently playing song title, artist, and album
• Playback duration and progress
• Album artwork
This data is used exclusively for rendering the visual features of the RetroPod widget. We do not store or share your music data.
D. In-App Purchases and RevenueCat
All purchases are processed by Apple. RetroPod uses RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymized data such as:
• Apple-provided purchase receipts
• Subscription type and status
• Anonymous user identifiers
No credit card or billing details are shared with us.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide core app functionality, including music display and widget rendering
• Manage premium subscriptions and unlock features
• Analyze and fix crashes and bugs
• Understand usage patterns to improve product design
• Attribute installs to marketing campaigns (via Adjust)
We do not sell or rent your data to third parties. Data is shared only as described in this policy or required by law.

4. Do Third Parties See and/or Have Access to Your Information?
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• To protect the rights, safety, or property of the Service Provider, you, or others

• In the event of a business merger, sale, or acquisition
Only aggregated, anonymized data is shared when possible. We do not share your information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Data Retention Policy
We retain:

• Subscription status data (via RevenueCat): as required for functionality and compliance

6. Opt-Out Rights
You can stop data collection by uninstalling the Application. You may also adjust privacy permissions for music access in your iOS device settings.

This Application is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal data, contact admin@bigmoodapps.com and we will delete it promptly.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect your data:
• Encrypted HTTPS connections
• Secure backend access controls
• Data minimization by design
Despite our efforts, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Use of the Application is at your own risk.

10. Do Not Track / ATT Compliance
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. RetroPod does not include ad SDKs and does not request tracking permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. We will notify users of material changes and update the “Effective Date” accordingly.
